This was our third unit (poster creation). Where we learned the inner working of creating posters for other people's videos. We paired up at random with the other students in the class and made posters based on their video and what they wanted

This was our last unit (Live Stream) where we were tasked to create a 15 min long live stream with premade elements and a story. we were split into groups of five.

Didactic Documentary
My intention for creating this doc is to show the dangers of ice and snow and how easily ice can be hidden
My approach was a propaganda video with some comedic elements to help with view retention
Interview Doc
Intention: To give my interviewee a platform to speak about his most important time of his life
Approach: a classic sit down interview with smooth lighting to complement the story
E-Sports Doc
Intention: Show how good the Overwatch E-sports is this yeah for Alma College. Also to show how far we have improved since last year
Approach: A compilation of interviews with highlights from the teams best match
Essay Doc
Intention: To show and share one of my favorite memories and experience with other people while also hoping to inspire them do join the band
Approach: compilation of pictures and some videos from the event that was live streamed. also sharing my thoughts in a sort of first person view
Fragmented Doc
Intention: To show some of the horror of cave diving while also creating a unique and fun video that incorporates Minecraft. one of my favorite games
Approach: Essay style mockumentary that blends the real world with Minecraft's. interviewing villagers and discovering the horrors of the cave dweller
About Me
My Name is Bryce DeHaan and I am a student at Alma College in Michigan. My major is in New Media Studies. I am a very biig fan of video games and anime of which I try to incorporate into my creations. I am also a member of the Alma College band in which I play Tuba and Trombone. I have also played in the Macy's Great American Marching Band. I graduated from Central Montcalm High school in 2023
